Things that interest me are music, consumer internet businesses, disruption of old media with technology, travel, basketball, sushi, video games, public and private market investing, restaurant discovery, politics, Stanford sports, fashion, snowboarding, technology start-ups and the Lakers.
Things that I don’t like include closed technology platforms, the Boston Celtics, avocado, acting “chill,” UC Berkley, mortgage-backed securities, peanut butter and piracy of content online.
